Where Have You Gone?

Declaration of Independence - US Constitution

Love of music for Bill Murawski began at the age of twelve and has not stopped as proven by the music video created for the song by the Phoenix Bird Rising Project titled Where Have You Gone? (The Robin Hood Song), which was written by him.

His love for his country runs just as deep as his love for music. Unfortunately the Declaration of Independence & the Constitution of the United States have all but faded into the sunset thanks to our elected officials who have decided that freedoms in America must take second place to security.

It is interesting to note the United States was the first country in the world that was not to be ruled by a monarchy but by We the People thanks to the Constitution. And yet, here we are today 235 years later, with two royal families, the Republicans and Democrats, ruling the people with nothing more than the Election Process. Think about it.

They tell us when elections are to take place, who is on the ballot and who the winners are behind closed doors. We believe them with a blinding faith that is stronger than the Rock of Gibraltar! And by the way with no accountability whatsoever by anyone!

Constitutional Amendments

The will of the people caused the 24th (1964) and 26th (1971) Amendments to be passed that eliminated poll taxes and gave 18 year olds the right to vote, respectively.

But what happened to the will of the people in 2000 when in the State of Florida a controversial Presidential Election was stolen from We the People because ballots were not or could not be counted?

We let them spend 4 billion dollars on the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) that replaced the use of mechanical and punched card voting machines with electronic voting machines. It was those electronic machines that helped President Bush become elected a second time through questionable means!

Is it time to call for Constitutional Amendments?

An American Citizen is an American Citizen in any state. So why aren't there laws providing all citizens in all states equality in the Election Process? Those using touch voting screens cannot have their votes recounted in a close election because there is no paper ballot to be counted or recounted - another Florida!

In this day and age of technology why can't voters have an exact copy of a barcoded ballot so they can
check on the Internet if their vote was counted? And how about another copy of all barcoded ballots in an election going to an independent organization to verify the results of an election for accountability purposes?

Also existing is the matter of the poll tax used against independent candidates who want to run for office against the Democrats and Republicans.

There is much more to be considered about the Election Process. In the event is not repaired (it is already "fixed") Americans will lose more than we already have.

A Presidential Election is soon  upon us. It's time to put pressure on elected officials and candidates running for office to add Constitutional Amendments for Global Rights in Elections.

In the event elected officials or those running for elective office do not pledge creating Constitutional Amendments global to the Election Process in America, do not vote for them.  And if they do not want to increase the taxes on the richest of "We the People" to help reduce the federal deficit, don't vote for them either.  For once in our lifetime, lets not fall for false promises.  Perhaps the theme of the Robin Hood Song "Where Have You Gone?" can become the message by the people in asking our elected officials where is it that they've gone to put America and the world in the financial position that it currently is in. I believe that one major source of America's problems is a Broken Election Process that is "fixed for them" and broken for us.
