Once again smoke and mirrors were used by our elected and anointed officials during "contract negoitiations" that led to the MTA Strike in December of 2005 during the height of the holiday season. And to make matters worse, Mayor Michael Bloomberg reverted to projecting his own inner feelings of being a thug (read dictionary definition) by referring to the striking union members as being "thuggish".
