Dear Mr. Helliker:

I am sending you this email for a number of reasons. Since I am running for the office of Public Advocate in the City of New York this November, and to my knowledge there is no other place in the United States that has such an elected office, I decided to be the public advocate as the Voice of the People in the matter of registered poisons.

You are the first government official I am writing to on this subject because one of my sisters and a nephew live in the State of
California and I will do all that is necessary and in my power to protect their health, welfare and well being.

I belong to an environmental group on the internet and a member of the group -- Steve Tvedten --  continues addressing emails to you on the subject of "registered poisons".   Since I am unaware of any responses from you regarding Mr. Tvedten's emails, I would like to take this opportunity to request copies of any and all responses to those emails from you, which I am sure exist especially considering the importance and severity in the matter of using registered poisons in your state as pointed out by Mr. Tvedten on many occasions.

At this time I am only requesting responses for five (5) of those emails, which are located on my website for your convenience at http://billmurawski.com/poisonpage.html.  There are additional questions posed by me regarding each of those emails that Mr. Tvedten sent you.  I expect those questions to be answered as well.

Should you not respond to my request for copies of responses to Mr. Tvedten by email or in writing within five (5) days of your receiving this email as requested herein,  I can only come to a number of conclusions.

1.  You are ignoring and have not responded to the emails from Mr. Tvedten for reasons only you know.
2.  You do not believe that the use of "registered poisons" is detrimental to the health and welfare of people.
3.  You are not interested in using safe alternatives to manage pest infestations.

Should you not respond to me within five (5) days from the time you receive this email as requested herein, I can only believe that you and the State of California are derelict in the duty of protecting the health and welfare of it's residents.  In the event that is indeed the case, I trust that you are aware of the ramifications of yours and the State of California's actions or inactions, which may include but will not be limited to a class action suit against you personally and the State of California on behalf of the health and welfare of my family and the many friends in my life who live there.
