Site Information and Disclaimer

The content on this website is a culmination of many years working in the corporate and public world in addition to those years working as a non-paid public servant who takes on any community related problem no matter the scope or size, and no matter who I must work with or fight against to get the job done.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the small business owners in and out of the Hell's Kichen/Clinton that have supported me over the past six years efforts whether it was support to save and restore DeWitt Clinton Park or for the baseball league.

As for the labor unions, I first have to thank all of the workers who my constant companion Orsalina and I met on the demonstration line for two years at the Roy Kay site on 9th Avenue and 54th Street -- especially "Mang", "Dino", "Shaba" and Bobby "Gentleman Jim" Ledwith.  My thanks also goes out to Locals 1, 46, 78, 79, 278, District 9 for either supporting my television mini-series "American Educating Americans" and/or with their continued financial support of the ball league.

I would also like to thank all of the people in the fields of education and public housing (my friends at NYCHA) who have supported me in my education of the many areas in public education and public housing, respectively.

Special thanks goes to Robert Lederman, Gloria Messer and her "gang" at MNN studios for directing my cable TV shows, Laura Vural,  Devora Hill,  Joe Torillo, Evelyn Regina, Roland Sainz,  James McDonald, Donna Reilly, Heather Reilly, Virginia Haines-Bednarek, Bob Haines Ralph Corrano, Bill at BQ, Sonia Guidry, Lili Fable, Gersh Kuntman, David Seifman, Julie Lobbia, Wayne Barrett, Michael Daly, Dan Janison, Jack Ballinger, Jim West, Jim McPartlin, Ron Nelson, Evelyn Hammer, Steve Tvedten, Barbara Rubin, Linda  Pascarella, the many members of the NOSPRAY environmental internet group, and all of the members of the MCS community for helping make this website a reality that will help people everywhere.  Finally, my thanks goes to Harold Cohen for finding the best webmaster in the world -- Dave "Captain Jack" Harris and Stephanie Harris with all of their doggies and cats.  If it were not for Harold, I would never have met many of the previously mentioned people on the internet.

I would be remiss not to mention Father Peter Colapietro who with the grace of God was able to get me back to church with his prayers and my in-again out-again membership with the Holy Cross Choir, and Father Jack Duffell who is a long-time friend I met while he was at the Sacred Heart Parish in Hell's Kitchen.

There is just not enough disk space available to thank all of the people who are not mentioned and who have had the faith to believe and trust in me as their friend, neighbor as the defender of their neighborhood and their rights so I will just say thank you to all and get on with the good fight no matter where it is!.

I am fully responsible for the content that is on this campaign website that has been re-released on Monday October 29, 2001.  All of the content on each page is added by me and all information is written by me with the exception of my profile page.  All media articles used on this site and are for educational and reference information only and are not used to sell just as a public library maintains back-dated printed media articles.  Some of those media articles are contained directly on the site for a number of reasons.  If they were published by a media organization that charges for access to them after a certain time period, most if not all have been purchased to post on this site.  And because of the fact that website owners are being asked to remove information from websites and other certain organizations "move" them to other website addresses for reasons only they know making them difficult to find to provide pertinent information to the public, I have also posted them on the site.

It should be also noted that any and all references on this website or to other website organizations does not necessarily indicate that I support or oppose any views, opinions or otherwise that are contained within those websites.  Any and all references to media articles and websites on this site are used solely for educational and reference purposes only and were discovered during my research on the many issues listed on the website. None of the sites listed or linked to from this website should be taken as sources for professional medical advice.  If you think that you require medical assistance, please contact a medical doctor certified in the state in which you live or go to the nearest hospital if you believe emergency assistance is required.

All links that are used are considered "free to use" because they are accessible to the internet community.  If there are any complaints with anything that is believed to be illegally posted or otherwise, please email me at Posting.

Sincerely,

Bill Murawski
Independent Candidate
Public Advocate of NYC

Help elect me as your public advocate.  I will continue to fight for the way life should be in New York City because I am the only candidate who knows and cares about how good it can be!

.

I became a community activist in 1995. Because of my success as an activist and uncovering corruption in the system, I gave up my successful corporate career of 30 years in the computer field in 1997 to concentrate on building a career as an advocate for all.

My word of honor!

It's unfortunate that money talks and everyone else walks in today's society. Contribute what you can to help me get elected.

One of my strenghts is that of an educator. Take a look at the community cable projects that I've done. Clips from the shows are due by the beginning of September.
